THE RHYTHM OF THE OCEAN – DIGITAL AFTER ALL
______ The Rhythm of the Ocean is a visual composition that draws from the sea as both metaphor and source. Originally created as a live performance in collaboration with Suzanne Ciani, the project has evolved into multiple formats over time.
At the Digital After All exhibition in El Mèdol, we presented the exhibition version of the piece — a contemplative adaptation designed for flat projection. In this format, The Rhythm of the Ocean becomes an abstract painting in motion, where light, texture, and rhythm flow across the screen like underwater currents.
Rather than depicting the ocean literally, the piece evokes it through suggestion and abstraction: floating fragments, shifting forms, and delicate visual pulses that mirror the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems.
This version invites the viewer into a space of quiet observation — a digital canvas that reflects transformation, impermanence, and the invisible rhythms that connect us with nature.
