______The Sokkyo show was created jointly by Brodas Bros and Desilence and designed exclusively for immersive spaces with 4-way projection on walls and floor with the audience distributed throughout the space.

Sokkyo comes from the word improvisation in Japanese and also represents the twists and turns that life takes, sometimes a very simple starting point ends up being a very complex and complicated situation or vice versa, a starting point that seems complicated can be solved in a very simple way.

Thanks to the technology we use in this show, “Sokkyo” is a game of improvisation and free dance that triggers projections made real-time with the magic and risk that all this entails.

Simultaneous things are those that happen or develop at the same time, which is what happens between the septet formed by Berta and Clara Pons, Marc Carrizo, Hector Puigdomenec and Pol and Lluc Fruitós on behalf of Brodas Bros and the duo Tatiana Halbach and Søren Christensen from Desilence who have joined forces and created a piece in which visual interaction and dance come together simultaneously in a more abstract and personal inner journey in which each piece that makes up the show expresses a natural state, different starting points that triggers very specific actions and interactions.

The path to get from one point to another is very interesting and full of unexpected emotions that are there waiting for someone to discover them. Brodas Bros and Desilence started working together in 2015 thanks to Adidas and Messi, but where they really made a big step forward was in the previous work “Around the world” nominated for the Max awards for best dance show and best lighting. A physical journey of memories and experiences accumulated by several countries in which the Brodas Bros were, a millimetric show, very technical and precise working with different technologies. In this case, Sokkyo wants to escape mathematics and goldsmithing and embrace the present to the fullest through improvisation and play. The direct, the Live, in this way with the technique of VJing and dance allows us to experience and live each show with its own personality, moving away from the canned show.

In addition to using technology as a content creation tool, in this show we use motion sensors as a creative instrument with which to play and enjoy, freeing ourselves from the bonds of rendering and markers in space, and it gives us the freedom of movement and spontaneous creation.
